Given the rush during Rakshabandhan, the state government has asked the Transport Corporation to deploy additional buses.
According to the instructions issued on Friday, free bus service will be available for 48 hours in the order of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. He said that women will not have to pay any fare for traveling by bus from midnight on August 10 to 12 midnight on August 12. During this, she will travel for free. It is worth noting that the Yogi Adityanath government of the state provides free bus facilities to women every year on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. But every year this facility was given only for 24 hours on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

It is being told that after the order of CM Yogi Adityanath, the UP Transport Corporation can soon issue a notification in this regard. Last year, on the day of Raksha Bandhan, three and a half lakh women took advantage of the free bus.
Order to remain active to Transport Department
CM Yogi has asked the Transport Department to be fully prepared given Raksha Bandhan. He has also asked the officials of the Transport Department to be vigilant and that the buses should be cleaned and it should be ensured that no mother and sister have any complaints while traveling on the bus.
