WhatsApp's latest update for IOS beta users may soon include a highly sought-after feature that allows users to edit messages. The new feature will likely provide a welcome change to the current system, which forces users to either delete and resend messages or leave typos and mistakes uncorrected.
With the upcoming update, users can edit messages they've already sent by simply tapping on the message and selecting the "Edit" option. Once they've made their desired changes, the edited message will show up with a small "Edited" label to indicate that the message has been altered.
While this feature is currently only available for beta users on IOS, it's expected to be rolled out for all IOS users in the near future. WhatsApp has not yet confirmed when the feature will be available for Android users.
