Vande Bharat Express met with an accident for the 5th time, front part broken after colliding with a cow in Valsad
Vande Bharat Express Accident: Vande Bharat Express train again became a victim of an accident. The front part of the engine of the Vande Bharat Express train was damaged due to a collision with cattle in Valsad, Gujarat. Due to the accident, the train had to be stopped midway for about 12 minutes.
The Vande Bharat Express train going from Gandhinagar to Mumbai in Gujarat once again became the victim of an accident. This is the fourth accident of this train and the fifth accident of the Vande Bharat Express train. According to the information received, the Vande Bharat Express train going from Gandhinagar to Mumbai collided with cattle in Valsad, Gujarat last night. Due to this collision, the front part of the engine of the Vande Bharat Express train was damaged. Also, due to the accident, the train had to be stopped midway. Confirming the accident, a railway official said that the collision caused minor damage to the front panel of the train. He said that the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Superfast Express collided with cattle late Thursday evening between Udvada and Vapi stations in Gujarat.
Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, said that the incident took place near level crossing gate number 87 between Udvada and Vapi at around 6.23 pm. After stopping for some time due to the accident, the train started the journey at 6.35 pm. There is no news of any damage to the passengers due to the accident. The front part of the train was moderately damaged. Which was corrected immediately.
It may be noted that the Vande Bharat Express train, the country's most Supertech train from Gandhinagar to Mumbai, was inaugurated two months ago by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the fourth incident of cattle hitting a semi-high-speed train on this route in the last two months. Earlier on October 6, it collided with a herd of buffaloes near Vatva and Maninagar stations. Then the front part of the train was badly damaged.
Then on October 7, she again met with an accident. This accident happened due to the arrival of a herd of cattle on the track. The accident took place at 3.48 pm near Anand, about 32 km from Mumbai. Then on October 29, at 8.17 am near Atul railway station, she was hit by a bull.
Apart from this, a female passenger was killed after being hit by the Vande Bharat Express train at Anand station. Meanwhile, due to a technical glitch in UP, the Vande Bharat Express train was stopped midway for hours.
