It may be known that the NIA had arrested six people from Karnataka by conducting raids on Thursday. One of them is a young man named Rishan. Rishan is the son of a Congress leader. The raids were conducted in connection with a case related to the ISIS network in the state. The NIA, which is probing several terror-related cases in the state, is probing the roots of the network involved in promoting terrorism in the state. Pictures of Rishan with Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar and Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah are going viral.
Raghupati Bhat, BJP MLA from Udupi, said that one of the suspects arrested by the NIA, Reeshan, is the son of Tajuddin, Congress general secretary of Brahmavar block in Udupi district. He said – He has been arrested and the investigation is on. Disturbing information is coming to the fore in the investigation. I demand the government and NIA speed up the investigation. Especially in the coastal region, where many such persons are suspected to be involved in disruptive activities.
BJP MLA Raghupati Bhat insisted- I want to question the Congress party. Tajuddin is not an ordinary worker. He is the Block Congress General Secretary. He is at the forefront of party activities. He is close to Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar and he is very close to Ullal Congress MLA UT Khadar. He said, when the son of a party functionary is caught in a terror case, the Congress party should take responsibility for it.
Here, no statement has come out from Congress on this whole episode. It may be known that in the past, NIA had arrested many members of PFI by conducting intensive raids in the entire state including South India. It was learned from the arrested PFI members that some PFI leaders were also in contact with Al Qaeda. After which the investigation of NIA is going on continuously.
