People allege that Sunny Deol never came to Gurdaspur after winning the election. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had given a ticket to Sunny Deol from Gurdaspur. Sunny won the election on the basis of the Modi wave and his cinematic image, but could not give time among the people.
Those pasting posters of Sunny's disappearance say that Sunny Deol never came to Gurdaspur after becoming an MP. People said that Sunny Deol calls himself the son of Punjab but he has not done any development work, has not allocated funds, and has not brought any central government scheme here. If they don't want to work, they should resign.
It is noteworthy that along with his parliamentary constituency, Sunny also remains absent from many important proceedings of the Parliament. Even during the recently concluded Presidential and Vice Presidential elections, Sunny Deol did not reach the Parliament. Even during the Punjab Assembly elections, Sunny Deol was missing. However, for not being present in his area during the election, it was said that he was ill and doctors have advised him to take rest.
