Sisodia's letter to LG, asked- Why did not order an inquiry into the 6000 crore scam in BJP's MCD?
LG vs Delhi Govt: The tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi and the Lieutenant Governor continues. Now Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has written a letter to LG VK Saxena asking him many sharp questions.
Lt Governor VK Saxena had recommended a CBI inquiry regarding the investigation of Delhi's excise policy. After which CBI raid took place at the house of Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. The central agency did not give any information about what was found in the raid, but AAP leaders claim that even Chavanni was not found in this raid. After this incident, there is a tussle between the Delhi government and the Lieutenant Governor. Now Manish Sisodia has raised sharp questions by writing a letter to LG VK Saxena.
Manish Sisodia has written another letter to the Lieutenant Governor. He said why did you not order an inquiry into the scam of Rs 6 thousand crores in BJP's MCD? He further said, "I had written a letter 2 months ago for a CBI inquiry regarding the scam of 6000 crores by the municipal corporation of BJP, you have not paid any attention to the scams of 6000 crores done by the BJP. You got my house raided by CBI. You didn't find anything by checking me out.
Manish Sisodia wrote that your attention has remained only to interfere in the works of the Delhi Government and conduct false investigations every day. Our government is staunchly honest and not afraid of any investigation. You are requested to order a CBI inquiry into the scam of 6000 crores done by MCD of BJP. According to the information here, after the excise policy, LG has ordered an inquiry into another matter related to the Delhi government.
Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has ordered a probe into alleged 'irregularities' in subsidy given by the Delhi government to BSES discoms and asked the Chief Secretary to investigate and submit a report within 7 days. LG Secretariat has received complaints of irregularities in the power subsidy case. The complainant has alleged that the scam was allegedly committed by Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Jasmine Shah and Delhi Dialogue Commission vice-chairman and AAP MP Naveen Gupta, son of ND Gupta.
