The incident took place in April when Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Everton. Handing out a warning to footballer Jacob Kelly caused his phone to fall to the ground. When Cristiano Ronaldo left the pitch at Goodison Park, the victim's mother complained that the child's hand was swollen and bruised. After the incident was reported, the FA gave written arguments and punished Cristiano Ronaldo.
This comes just after Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Manchester United expired. In an interview, Ronaldo clearly stated that he has been betrayed by the Red Devils. Ronaldo's ban for missing two consecutive matches could be a big loss for Chelsea and Newcastle. This could hamper their preparations against Ghana in the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
