Sunak said, "We will kick out the Chinese Communist Party from our universities. In addition, we will investigate more than $60,000 in foreign funding for higher education institutions." Sunak further said that Britain's domestic spy agency M15 will be used to deal with Chinese espionage and will try to use NATO-style international cooperation to deal with Chinese threats in cyberspace.
