PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate 'Centre-State Science Conference' today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day Centre-State Science Conference through video conference today. The two-day conference will be organized at Science City, Ahmedabad. It will include sessions on various thematic areas including STI Vision 2047.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Centre-State Science Conference in Ahmedabad today. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the program and address the gathering through video conferencing from Delhi. The first-of-its-kind science conference is being organized to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship in the country and strengthen Centre-State coordination and cooperation mechanisms. In a statement, the Ministry of Science and Technology said that it will strengthen the Centre-State coordination and cooperation mechanism. To build a strong Science, Technology and Innovation STI ecosystem across the country in the spirit of cooperative federalism.
The two-day conference will include sessions on various thematic areas, including STI Vision 204, Pathways to Future Growth and Vision for STs in the States and Digital Health Care for All. The need for agro-technological interventions to double private sector investment in research and development by 2030 and improve farmers' incomes will also be discussed.
Meanwhile, researchers and scholars will also talk about innovations for the production of potable water, clean energy for all and the hydrogen mission. The Deep Ocean Mission and its relevance to the coastal states will also be discussed.
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day, has come to this conference to give the slogan of Jai Anusandhan, Innovation. PM Modi said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had added Jai Vigyan to the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and now India will add Jai Anusandhan to it.
