PM Modi's visit to Haryana and Punjab, will give gift of cancer hospital
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Amrita Hospital in the morning, followed by Mohali in the afternoon. In the afternoon Sahibzada will inaugurate Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center at Mullanpur, New Chandigarh in Ajit Singh Nagar district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Haryana and Punjab today. Will inaugurate two hospitals in Haryana and Punjab. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana and the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center at Mullanpur New Chandigarh. Earlier, security arrangements were tightened in Chandigarh. When PM Modi visited Punjab in January this year, a case of a lapse in his security came to the fore. Chandigarh has been declared a no-flying zone before PM Modi's visit. Keeping in mind the security of the PM, Section 144 has been imposed in the district. During this, the flight of drone cameras, and gliders will be completely banned.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Amrita Hospital in Faridabad at 11 am, which will boost the availability of modern medical infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR). The hospital is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 6,000 crore. Will provide state-of-the-art health facilities to the people of Faridabad and the entire NCR. Amrita Hospital claims to be the largest private hospital in India with 2,400 beds. The super specialty hospital will be equipped with the latest health facilities. Prime Minister Modi will also visit Mohali to inaugurate the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.
In an effort to provide world-class cancer care to the residents of Punjab and neighbouring states and union territories, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center at Mullanpur New Chandigarh Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District Mohali. The hospital has been built at a cost of over crores of rupees. According to the statement of the PMO, Rs 660 crore has been given by the Tata Memorial Center, an aided institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation 'Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre' at Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District (Mohali) at 2:15 pm. Cancer Hospital is a tertiary care hospital with a capacity of 300 beds and is well equipped with modern facilities to treat all types of cancer using every available treatment method like surgery, radiotherapy and medical oncology chemotherapy, immunotherapy and bone marrow transplant.
