Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day program to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Delhi Karnataka Sangh at Talkatora Indoor Stadium today. BJP National General Secretary BL Santhosh, Karnataka's Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar will be present during the closing ceremony on February 26.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate a two-day program on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Delhi Karnataka Sangh at Talkatora Indoor Stadium today. Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math, Sivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji of Suttur Math, Nanjavadhuth Swamiji of Sri Spatikapura, Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Pejavar Math will also be present during this period.
The closing ceremony of the 75th anniversary of Delhi Karnataka Sangh will be held tomorrow i.e. on Sunday. BJP's National General Secretary BL Santhosh, Karnataka's Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar will be present in this programme. The two-day festival will showcase the cultural richness of the state through traditional music, dance and poetry recitation, said CM Nagaraj, president of the Delhi Karnataka Sangh.
CM Nagaraj informed that more than 1,000 artists from all the districts of the state have been invited for cultural programs. There are currently around 10,000–12,000 people from Karnataka living in the national capital, of whom around 3,500 are members of the Delhi Karnataka Sangh. The president of the Delhi Karnataka Sangh said the objective of the event is to bring them together and create a cultural bond. He told that it is a 'non-political event'.
