PM Modi will inaugurate India Energy Week today, 11 states will get this benefit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 'India Energy Week 2023' (IEW) in Bengaluru today. India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 will be held in Bengaluru from February 6 to 8.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Karnataka on Monday. During this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 'India Energy Week 2023' (IEW) in Bengaluru. India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 will be held in Bengaluru from February 6 to 8. It aims to showcase India's growing strength as an energy transition powerhouse. Prime Minister Modi will also launch blended petrol with 20 percent ethanol. After which the sale of E20 fuel will start at 84 retail petrol pumps in 11 states and union territories.
Prime Minister Modi tweeted about this a day before on Sunday and said that I am eager to go to Karnataka. On reaching Bengaluru, he will participate in 'India Energy Week 2023'. Along with this, he will also lay the foundation stone for different projects.
The Prime Minister's Office explained that the event will bring together leaders from conventional, and non-conventional energy industries, governments and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face. More than 30 ministers from across the world will participate in it. Also, over 30,000 delegates, 1000 exhibitors and 500 speakers will come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of India's energy future.
Prime Minister Modi will also launch blended petrol with 20 percent ethanol. After this, the sale of E20 fuel will start at 84 retail petrol pumps in 11 states and union territories. E20 is a blend of 20 percent ethanol with gasoline. The PM will also dedicate the helicopter factory of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Tumakuru.
During the event, the Prime Minister will participate in an interaction with Global Oil and Oil CEOs. Along with this, PM Modi will also flag off the Green Mobility Rally. This rally will help in creating public awareness for green energy.
