PM Modi Dimapur Nagaland Election Rally: Elections for 60 assembly seats in Meghalaya are to be held on February 27. So PM Narendra Modi held an election rally in Dimapur, Nagaland today. In a public rally in Chumukedima, Dimapur, Nagaland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed the truth of Congress to the people of Nagaland and said that the policy of Congress and its allies for the North East has been – to get votes and forget them. Congress leaders from Delhi are not even looking at Nagaland. The governments of Congress and its allies have never given importance to the stability and prosperity of Nagaland in their politics. PM Modi said that I have always been impressed by the cultural diversity of Nagaland. There is a wave of development and confidence in Nagaland. There is so much support for the BJP-NDPP government here today because we are working day and night with the resolve for the speedy development of the North East. Sharing a secret with the people of Nagaland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the money of the government did not reach the people, but reached the coffers of corrupt parties.
The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has 60 seats. But the Bharatiya Janata Party has won one seat unopposed. So on February 27, voting will be held for 59 seats in the state of Nagaland. There are a total of 13.09 lakh voters in Nagaland. The five-year term of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly ends on March 12 and a new assembly has to be constituted before that period. The counting of votes for the Nagaland Assembly will take place on March 2. NDPP-BJP alliance is contesting the elections in Nagaland.
PM Narendra Modi said that Congress ran the government of Nagaland with remote control from Delhi. From Delhi to Dimapur, they had given priority to familyism, but our government has changed the thinking of the Delhi government for the entire Northeast. Congress had considered Northeast as ATM.
PM Narendra Modi further said that the Central Government is giving free ration to thousands of families in Nagaland today. This is happening because we do not give ATMs to the 8 states of North East like Congress, but for us, they are 'Ashta Lakshmi'.
PM Narendra Modi said that our mantra for Nagaland has been peace, progress and prosperity. That's why people trust BJP-NDPP. In the last few years, many youths have left the path of violence. In the last 9 years, the incidents of violence in Nagaland have decreased by about 75 percent.
