Pakistan Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor Dies: Pakistan's Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor died in a road accident. The incident took place in the Red Zone area of Islamabad. A case has been registered against five people in this connection. This information was given in media reports on Sunday. Dawn quoted police as saying that the accident took place on Saturday when Shakur was going towards Sachivalaya Chowk on Constitution Avenue and his car was hit by a passenger vehicle. The minister was taken to a private hospital, where he was declared brought dead. After the death of the minister in the accident, the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan have expressed their condolences.

Shakoor was a leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F). Shakoor was an Islamic scholar. A wave of mourning has run in the country due to his death. Apart from politics, people of Islamic groups have also mourned his death. Pakistan's President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences and paid tribute to the departed soul.

On the other hand, an FIR was registered in the matter, in which the complainant, Haji Kudratullah, stated that the accident occurred due to the carelessness and negligence of the other driver. Qudratullah said that the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) was scheduled to come to his place for Iftar. However, his cook receives a call about the minister's death.

The accused have been booked under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. It is said that Pakistan's Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor himself was driving the car at the time of the accident. Meanwhile, his car collided with a car coming from the other lane. He was rushed to the hospital in a hurry. Where the doctors confirmed his death.
