On The Huge Victory, PM Modi Said- 'Thank You Gujarat', Told The Workers The Strength

The happiness of coming to power for the 7th consecutive time in the Gujarat Assembly elections is clearly visible on the faces of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders. BJP is close to creating history this time in Gujarat. Though the Election Commission is yet to release clear results, BJP seems to be getting two-thirds of the seats. On the occasion of this historic victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted and wrote, 'Thank you Gujarat' for the people of Gujarat. PM Modi is going to address the party workers at the BJP headquarters.

The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for 27 consecutive years. This time BJP won a landslide victory. BJP left no stone unturned to make Congress bite the dust. BJP has a share of about 53 percent in the total vote percentage. Prior to this, the BJP's best performance was in 2002 winning 127 seats. Then Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of the state. If we talk about the record of winning the maximum number of seats in the Gujarat elections, then in 1985, Congress got the best success by winning 149 seats in the state. Then Madhav Singh Solanki became the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

PM Modi said- 'Thank you Gujarat'

After the massive victory in Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the people of Gujarat. He wrote in the tweet, Thank you Gujarat. I am overwhelmed with so many emotions upon seeing the unprecedented election results. People have blessed the politics of development and also expressed their wish that they want it to continue at a faster pace. I salute the people power of Gujarat.

The Prime Minister gave the credit for this success of Gujarat to the hardworking and hard-working workers of the BJP.
