Now there will be no need to remove charger and laptop from the bag at the airport, know why
Passengers will soon be able to enter the airport without removing laptops, mobiles and chargers from their bags, for which new modern scanners will be installed. The screening will be done through these scanners without removing the electronic device from the bag.
If you are worried about long lines at the airport, then there is good news for you. Soon new modern scanners will be installed at the airport, after which passengers will be able to clear the airport security check without keeping laptops, mobiles and chargers in their trays. After this, you will not have to wait for your turn in a long line for a security check at the airport. According to media reports, the aviation security regulator Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) will issue technical norms within a month, after which new modern scanners will be installed at the airport for bag screening.
These modern scanners are already being used at many airports in America and Europe, which is helping passengers with security checks without any problem. Recently, an official of the Union Civil Aviation Ministry has said that "our aim is to evacuate passengers faster and with better security equipment."
According to media reports, the new modern scanners will first be installed at all major airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. At the same time, within a year, these scanners will be installed at other airports as well.
Recently, passengers queued up for hours at the main domestic and international terminals of Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to go through check-in and security checks, which also delayed some flights. After this, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also visited the airport, after which the system was also improved for the convenience of the passengers at the airport.
