The National Investigating Agency conducted raids in three states in connection with a case related to Ghazwa-e-Hind. The NIA raided Nagpur in Maharashtra, Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and Valsad, Surat and Botad in Gujarat in the July 2022 case. NIA has recovered mobile phones, memory cards, firearms and some documents along with incriminating documents from the locations of eight suspects of Ghazwa-e-Hind. A case was registered in Phulwari Sharif last year against the Pakistan-based militant outfit. In the same case, Pakistani national Marghub Ahmed Danish, who runs the WhatsApp group of the terrorist organization, was also arrested.
Danish had created a group of organizations on different social media platforms. Apart from this, a separate group was also formed to connect Bangladeshi citizens. Through this, India, Yemen, Bangladesh and Pakistan used to provoke youths to form sleeper cells. Not only this, but he also provided help to conduct terrorist activities. A charge sheet has already been filed against Danish. Based on Danish's interrogation, the NIA was keeping an eye on the organization's hideouts in other parts of the country.
