In the BJP Legislature Party meeting, Manik Saha has been elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party, after which all the deadlocks have come to an end. Manik Saha will be the Chief Minister of Tripura.
Manik Saha has been re-elected as the Chief Minister of Tripura. Manik Saha will have a second term as the Chief Minister of Tripura after he was elected as the leader of the Legislature Party in the Legislature Party meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. Addressing the media after the meeting, a BJP spokesperson said that Manik Saha has been unanimously supported by all the MLAs of the party. In Tripura, the BJP secured a clear majority by winning 32 seats in the 60-member assembly. While the BJP's ally, the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT), has won only one seat.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda will reach Agartala on Tuesday i.e. tomorrow evening to attend this swearing-in ceremony. Along with this, many other big leaders of the BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi are likely to attend.
After being elected as the leader of the Legislature Party, Manik Saha tweeted that I express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone for electing him as the leader of the Legislature Party. Under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, we will work together to build 'Unnat Tripura, Shreshtha Tripura' and ensure the welfare of all sections of people.
