India will host the G-20 summit in 2023. Under this, PM Narendra Modi has called an all-party meeting of CMs of all states and heads of all parties on 5 December at Rashtrapati Bhavan. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend the G20 meeting but not as the CM of West Bengal but as Trinamool Congress supremo. Mamta Banerjee said that she will not meet the Prime Minister separately during his visit to Delhi. And after that, I will go to Ajmer Sharif and Pushkar. Then I will hold a meeting with the MPs and then return to Kolkata.
There is no chance to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi separately during my four-day visit to New Delhi and Rajasthan starting Monday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata before coming to Delhi. Mamata Banerjee said she will attend the chief ministers' meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan late on Monday evening called by the prime minister to discuss India's hosting of the G20 summit next year.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, there I will have some talks with the Prime Minister. But this time there is no possibility of meeting the Prime Minister separately. He also did not give details of whether there is any possibility of meeting leaders of other parties during his visit.
Mamata Banerjee had already made it clear that she would attend the meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan not as the Chief Minister of West Bengal but as the National President of the All India Trinamool Congress.
Mamta Banerjee further said that, when I was the Railway Minister, I had made arrangements to connect these two religious places, Ajmer Sharif and Pushkar, by railways. It was my long-standing desire to visit both of these places, which I will fulfill this time.
