Maharashtra Chandrapur and Sindhudurg Gold Mine: In a program organized in Mumbai, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that gold mines are present in the Chandrapur and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra.
The possibility of gold mines in Maharashtra has been expressed in two districts of Maharashtra. The Chief Minister of the state, Eknath Shinde himself has said this. He told that the search work is going on in this regard with the help of the Central Government.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in his address at the Investment Council on 'Auction of Commercial Coal Mines and Golden Opportunities in Mining Sector' held in Mumbai, said that gold mines are present in Chandrapur and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra.
He said, it is being said that along with minerals like coal, bauxite, iron, and gold may also be present in the state. There is also a report from the Mining Department of the Central Government in this regard. After which testing has also started.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said that Central Government officials have informed that there are two gold blocks in Maharashtra. He also said that if this gold comes out during the Shinde-Fadnavis government then it will be a big achievement for Maharashtra. He told that these two blocks of gold are located in the Chandrapur district of Vidarbha and the Sindhudurg district of Konkan.
Expressing confidence, he said that if mineral deposits are found in the state, the country's biggest steel project can be started.
An investor conference on opportunities in the mining sector was held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Speaking at this conference, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde mentioned gold mines in the state, which attracted everyone's attention. Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve, and State Mines Minister Dada Bhuse were present in the programme.
