Judges Of Allahabad High Court Gave Advice, To Be Sensitive While Doing Justice To Rape Victims And Differently-abled
The judges of the Allahabad High Court advised the presiding judges in the subordinate courts of the state to be more sensitive towards the handicapped and rape victims. He said that such a judicial approach should be reflected in their functioning. The judges of the High Court were addressing the ongoing two-day training program at JTRI to the district judges from different districts of the state, especially Lucknow, Ayodhya, Kanpur Nagar, Sitapur, Rae Bareli, and Unnao.

The conference was organized on the approach toward Gender Justice, Divyang, and rape victims. The event, participants in the event were divided into five classes and the judges of the High Court gave training. On this occasion, Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay of Lucknow Bench said that we should focus on developing and promoting a culture of respect for women. He said that the constitution does not bring any revolution, but the constitution is made by revolution.
At the same time, Justice Ramesh Sinha, Justice Sunita Agarwal, and Justice Jaspreet Singh also expressed their views. Earlier on Saturday, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari of the Supreme Court inaugurated the event. He had said that justice should be cause-centered and not litigant-centric. He had said that the judges should have sympathy in their hearts while doing justice to the women victims of crime and the handicapped.
Women need not feel worshiped: In a seminar organized on the topic of gender justice and sexual harassment victims/survivors for the disabled in the Judicial Training and Research Institute, Allahabad High Court Judge Sunita Agrawal said that women need to feel not worshiped. Their existence should have significance. Women will make their own place. High Court Lucknow Judge Devendra Kumar Upadhyay said that the practice of respecting and respecting women should be started.
Judge JJ Munir of Allahabad High Court and Judge Jaspreet Singh of High Court Lucknow said that the benefit of the two-day seminar will be available in the daily judicial work. At the same time, it will help in the quick disposal of all sections of society with sensitivity. In the seminar, various issues including the psychology of women and children with disabilities, victims of rape and sexual abuse, compensation and rehabilitation of victims, child abuse, and gender issues, including effective enforcement of the law by enforcement agencies, were discussed.
