JK: Government employee arrested for posting controversial posts on social media
A government employee has been arrested for posting "hateful posts and comments" on his Facebook account, police said. His Facebook account and as a result of which there was every apprehension of law and order problems in the district.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a person for posting hateful posts or comments on social media. The police have issued a statement regarding this. The police have registered a case in this matter and started an investigation. Giving details about the incident, the police said that a government employee has been arrested and questioned for posting "hateful posts and comments" on his Facebook account.
Police said on Thursday that Amrik Singh s/o late Ranbir Singh, resident of Beoli Doda, resident of Beoli, Doda, posted as a Class IV employee in the office of the Chief Education Officer, Doda, has been found uploading hateful posts/comments. His Facebook account and as a result, there was every apprehension of a flare-up of law and order problems in the district.
Realizing the sensitivity of the matter and to prevent the situation from turning into a law and order problem, the police arrested the person. After preparing a detailed report, it was produced before the Executive Magistrate Class I, Doda. He was sent to District Jail Bhaderwah in preventive custody.
