Income Tax Raid On Al Noor Exports
A major action was taken by IT on Saturday morning at more than 18 locations of various meat exports including HMA Group and Al Noor Exports in the state. The search operation was carried out at Muzaffarnagar and Delhi locations including Meerut of Delhi-based company Al Noor Exports. In the raid, the IT team found solid evidence of hawala transactions. Documents are being collected after investigating the manipulation of crores in the accounts. The raids will continue till Monday.

Delhi Safdarjung resident Ajay Sood's company Al Noor Exports has its office at C 4/10 2nd Floor Safdarjung Development Area, New Delhi. They have a cold store in Mickey House Jail Chungi Jail Road Meerut. The cold store in Meerut is closed for five years. Although they also have a big meat plant in Shernagar Jansath Road Muzaffarnagar. From here meat is also supplied on a large scale to the Gulf countries. Ajay Sood's brother and partner Mickey Sood has passed away. Now his sons are handling the business.
The Delhi Income Tax team informed the Meerut Income Tax team on Friday evening about the raids at some places in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar. The team reached seven locations in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar in the morning. One team each from Meerut and Ghaziabad was kept on standby. Two hours of action were taken by Al Noor Exports at Mikki House's cold store on Meerut Jail Road.
Officials from Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Delhi were involved in the raid. The action continued till late at night in Muffernagar Jansath Road Shernagar. Departmental sources say that this company, which is exporting meat, is getting money from hawala transactions. Meat is being exported in huge quantities. The amount received through bank transactions is very less.
PNB's 27 crore loan on Al Noor
Al Noor Exports took a loan of Rs 27 crore 22 lakh 83 thousand 620 from Punjab National Bank. The loan was sanctioned by the Modinagar branch office. The account is operated from the Ghaziabad office. The bank posted a notice on Mickey House located in Meerut Jail Chungi on 7 September 2021 for non-payment of installment. Further action was initiated on depositing the money by July 1, 2022.
Ajay Sood, director of the company Al Noor Exports, took a loan of about 20 crores for the expansion of the company. In this, Priya Sood, Anita Sood, Arjun Sood, Renu Sood, and Radhika Sood were also made guarantors. The bank was shown the assets of Delhi, Meerut, and Muzaffarnagar.
According to bank sources, on September 7, 2021, the bank posted a notice at Mikki House, Meerut Jail Chungi, along with a notice to Al Noor Exports, for non-payment of loan installment. The loan amount was not repaid by the company even till November 2022. Now legal action is being taken against the company.
