Once again in Gujarat, a case of paper leak has come to the fore in the government recruitment examination. The Government Junior Clerk Recruitment Exam has been put on hold due to paper leak. The written examination of Panchayat Junior Clerk was to be held in the state on Sunday at 11 am. The youth were reaching the examination center to give the exam. Meanwhile, news has come that the paper of Panchayat Junior Clerk exam has been leaked. This enraged the students and created a ruckus on the streets. The police had detained a suspect in this regard. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has targeted the BJP over the paper leak.

After the paper leak, Congress has become an attacker on all the opposition parties BJP. Apart from Kejriwal, the Gujarat Congress has also besieged the state government. Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi claimed that this was the 15th government competitive exam to be canceled in the last 12 years due to the question paper leak.
The Gujarat government's competitive exam for the recruitment of junior clerks was canceled hours before it was scheduled for Sunday, the State Panchayat Examination Board said. In this case, the police have detained a suspect. Police said that the matter is being investigated.
As many as 9.5 lakh candidates had registered for the exam for 1,181 posts to be held at 2,995 centers across the state. Acting on a tip-off, the police detained a suspect and recovered a copy of the exam question paper on Sunday morning. Thereafter the Gujarat Panchayat Services Selection Board decided to postpone the examination in the larger interest of the candidates.
The board said in a statement that the examination of Junior Clerk (Administrative/Accounts) was to be held on January 29 between 11 am to 12 noon in various districts. But the question paper got leaked even before the exam started. The Board expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the candidates and informed them not to visit the examination centres. It said, the examination will be conducted afresh at the earliest, for which the board will issue fresh advertisement.
