There was a horrific accident in Cyrus Mistry's car near Palghar on the Bai-Ahmedabad highway. After which Mistry was immediately taken to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Let us tell you that Cyrus Mistry was born on 4 July 1968. He was the sixth chairman of the Tata Group. He passed away today i.e. on 4 September 2022. His death has caused a wave of mourning in the business world.
According to preliminary information about the accident, Mistry's Mercedes car collided with the road divider. There were a total of four people in the car. Two people including Mistry have died in this accident. After the accident, Mistry was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Two other people in the car were injured. His treatment continues.
Confirming the accident, Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil said, the number of the car in which Mistry was travelling is MH-47-AB-6705. The accident happened at around 3.30 pm on the Surya river bridge on the way from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Two people died in the accident, while the other two people were injured. He said that the injured had been shifted to the hospital. the matter is being investigated.
It is known that on June 28 this year, Cyrus' father and business tycoon Pallonji Mistry (93) died. Cyrus was the sixth chairman of the Tata Group. In December 2012, Ratan Tata resigned as the chairman of Tata Sons. After that, this post was assigned to Cyrus Mistry. However, within four years, on 24 October 2016, Tata Sons removed him from the post of chairman.
