First phase of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway dedicated to the country, Prime Minister inaugurated the first phase
Delhi Mumbai Expressway: The 228 km route started from Sohna in Gurgaon to Barka Pada in Dausa district, the total length of the expressway in Rajasthan is 373 km, PM Modi addressed the public meeting after the inauguration in the Dhanavad rest route.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the nation by inaugurating it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the first phase of the expressway to the people of the country this afternoon. In the first phase, the 228 km road from Sohna in Haryana to Barka Pada in the Dausa district has become operational. After the inauguration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also inspected the expressway. Only after the inauguration of the expressway, the journey from Jaipur to Delhi will now be 3 hours, as well as the journey from Dausa to Delhi will be only around 2 hours.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the public meeting in Dhanavad Rest Area after the inauguration. For the public meeting, more than 1.5 lakh people from nearby districts reached the public meeting. The public meeting was also addressed by the leaders of the Rajasthan BJP.
In fact, the total length of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is 1342 kilometres and its total cost is said to be Rs 10 lakh crore. This expressway highway will pass through the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
On the other hand, the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Highway will pass through 3 districts of Rajasthan, among them Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bundi and Kota districts. After the construction of the expressway, the journey from Delhi to Mumbai will also become easier and will reach Mumbai from Delhi in just 12 hours. The speed of vehicles on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Highway will be up to 120 km.
