Fierce fire broke out in Kargil mosque late night under suspicious circumstances, the mosque was gutted

Last night a massive fire broke out in a famous mosque. As soon as the news of the fire broke out, a large number of local people gathered. People tried their best to extinguish the fire, but could not succeed. Due to the non-availability of a fire department facility, the mosque was completely destroyed in the fire. No official statement has yet come out on how the mosque caught fire. But there is resentment among the local people due to the ashes of the mosque. The matter has come to the fore from Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the information received, a massive fire broke out in a mosque in Drass of Kargil on Wednesday late evening under suspicious circumstances. The mosque was completely destroyed in this accident. After a sudden fire broke out in the Kadim Hanfia Jamia Masjid Sharif of Drass, local residents and police personnel started dousing the fire. But by the time the fire was brought under control, the mosque was destroyed.

Wood was used more in the mosque. The fire, therefore, spread very rapidly and soon got out of control. By the time people could understand something, in no time the entire mosque was engulfed in flames. However, it is a matter of pride that there was no loss of public property in this incident. Meanwhile, the Kargil police are trying to find out the cause of the fire. It is feared that the fire may have started due to a short circuit.

Here the local people say that it was not possible to control the fire due to the absence of any fire service station there. They say that the fire station is in Kargil. From there the damage is done till the fire service vehicles reach. There is a demand from the people that the Ladakh administration should take action toward building a fire service station in Drass as well.
