US security agencies are now collecting the debris. US President Joe Biden approved the shooting down of the spy balloon. After this, it was supported by military officers. The surveillance balloon was first spotted over Montana earlier this week. Its size is equal to three buses.
China said that the US shooting down the balloon was a serious violation of international practice.
