Case filed against Dr. Anahita Pandole in Cyrus Mistry's death case, this came to light in police investigation

Police have registered an FIR today in connection with the death of former Tata Group chairman and industrialist Cyrus Mistry of the country's old business house Shapoorji Pallonji Group in an accident. Police have registered a case against Dr. Anahita Pandol in connection with the death of Cyrus Mistry. Anahita Pandol was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.

According to the information received, Palghar Police of Maharashtra has registered a case of 'negligence' against Anahita Darius Pundole in connection with the death of Shapoorji Pallonji Group industrialist Cyrus P. Mistry in a car accident on September 4. An official has given this information on Saturday. Palghar Police has registered a case against Anahita Pundole (55). It is alleged that she was driving a Mercedes-Benz at a high speed on the Surya river bridge on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai national highway when the accident took place.

It may be mentioned that apart from Mistry, Jahangir Dinsha Pundole also died in the accident, while his brother Darius Dinsha Pandole and sister-in-law Anahita was seriously injured. After a thorough investigation into the matter and the interrogation of Anahita by police officer Prashant Pardeshi, the relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act as well as Section 304 (A) of the IPC for causing hasty or negligence death against her at the Kasa police station in Palghar. ) has been registered.

Following the accidental death of Cyrus Mistry, a report claimed that Anahita Pandole was "wrongly" wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Apart from this, the police say that the statement of Dr. Anahita Pandole's husband has been recorded in the case. He said that the accident happened due to a sudden lane change, in which Anahita could not control the car the accident happened.

Anahita and her husband were also seriously injured in this accident. Anahita's treatment is still going on. Hence his statement was not recorded. Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil said that some evidence has come to the fore in the investigation of the accident that took place in the Kasa area on 4 September. Based on that, a case has been registered against the driver of the car, Dr. Anahita Pandol. At present, the matter is still being investigated.
