Bomb found near Punjab and Haryana CM's residence, police sealed the area  

A live bomb was found on Monday i.e. today in Rajindra Park of Sector-2 in Chandigarh. Near this park is the Chief Minister's residence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Along with this, there is also a helipad at a short distance, where the helicopter of Punjab Chief Minister Mann lands. The police administration has swung into action after receiving information about a live bomb. The bomb has been covered from all sides. According to media reports, the Army has also been informed about this. Along with this, bomb disposal teams have reached the spot.

Describing it as a serious matter, Congress leader Amarinder Singh tweeted, "Finding a live bomb near the residence of CM Bhagwant Mann is a serious matter. There is a need to investigate every aspect and deal with it strictly. Keeping a live bomb near the residence of the Chief Minister of Punjab Those who dare can do anything. INCIndia always believes in zero tolerance to terror."

According to media reports, a live bomb was found near the mango tree of Rajindra Park, about which the tubewell operator informed the police. Immediately after receiving the information about the bomb, the police team, Area DSP and Disaster Management Team of Chandigarh Administration reached the spot and started an investigation. After this, the team of Bomb Squad and Dog Squad were called. Sanjeev Kohli, nodal officer of Disaster Management, told that "A live bomb has been found here. It has been made safe with the help of police and the bomb disposal squad. An army team has been called. The area is being cordoned off. Further investigation is underway."

Immediately after receiving information about the bomb, the police sealed the entire area. Along with this, the security system has also been increased. It will be known only after an investigation how and when this bomb reached the park near Punjab and Haryana CM's residence.

According to media reports, some codes are written in the bomb, which seems to be of the army. For this reason, the army will investigate it. Police have sought help from army officers regarding this bomb. Due to the darkness there, now the bomb will be defused tomorrow. The operation of defusing the bomb in the dark can be dangerous, due to which it has been postponed.
