BJP will make Karnataka number one in South India if it wins: Amit Shah
Bellary Vijay Sankalp Rally: Under Vijay Sankalp Yatra, Home Minister Amit Shah told the people of Karnataka on Thursday in Bellary, Amit Shah, you decide whether to give power to PM Modi or to Rahul Gandhi.
Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday appealed to the people of Karnataka in Bellary as part of the Vijay Sankalp Yatra that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and vote for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections, the party will make the state number one in South India. Addressing a huge public meeting, Amit Shah said that the BJP would give a corruption-free administration in the state. Every single vote given to JD(S) will go to Congress. Every vote given to Congress will go to the ATM Government of New Delhi. Only PM Modi can keep the country safe. You (voters) decide whether to give power to PM Modi or to Rahul Gandhi who is with the 'tukde-tukde' gang. PM Modi also banned the Popular Front of India (PFI), while the previous Siddaramaiah-led Congress government had withdrawn 1,700 cases against PFI activists.
In Bellary's Vijay Sankalp Yatra, Amit Shah roared that Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh did not dare to respond to terrorist attacks on India during their tenure. But when terrorist attacks were carried out in Uri and Pulwama during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he got the terrorists eliminated by ordering a surgical strike on Pakistan.
After the Vijay Sankalp Yatra rally, Amit Shah will hold an important meeting with state BJP stalwarts in Bengaluru. Amit Shah's visit is aimed at motivating party workers in the mining belt of Bellary, where former BJP leader Janardhan Reddy is determined to challenge the BJP. Sensing the possibility of a setback for the party in the region, the BJP is seriously chalking out a strategy to unseat Janardhana Reddy on his home turf.
Janardhana Reddy had announced the candidature of his wife Aruna Lakshmi from the Bellary City constituency. Currently, the seat is held by his brother Gali Somasekhara Reddy, who is in the BJP. Somasekhara Reddy has said that whoever contests against him, will win the seat for the party.
