BJP MLA T Raja Singh Was Arrested Again, Made Controversial Remarks About Prophet
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA T Raja Singh has been arrested once again for his controversial remarks against a particular religion. Telangana Police arrested suspended BJP leader T Raja Singh from his residence in Hyderabad for his alleged remarks against Prophet Muhammad. There were massive protests on 23 August over the leader's alleged statement. Suspended BJP MLA T Raja Singh was released on bail from the court late in the evening after his arrest on Tuesday.

BJP MLA had released a video criticizing stand-up comedian Munawwar Farooqui and a particular religion. In the video, Singh is purportedly seen making controversial remarks. T Raja Singh was a member of the Telugu Desam Party. He later joined the BJP and is currently the whip of the party in Telangana. Raja Singh has made several remarks targeting the Muslim community. Singh is an MLA from Goshamahal Assembly Constituency in Hyderabad. It is a part of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
