Big success for security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, two Jaish terrorist associates arrested in Pulwama
Jammu and Kashmir News: Security forces achieved a major success in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. Security forces arrested two associates of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed with weapons. Further investigation is being done by interrogating both.
On Monday, security forces arrested two terrorist associates of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have recovered arms and ammunition from them. After questioning both, the security forces are engaged in further action. Regarding the arrest of the terrorists, the Pulwama police said that intelligence was received about the delivery of arms and ammunition in Naina Bhatpora village. Following this, a team of police and Rashtriya Rifles were deployed at various suspected locations. Meanwhile, on suspicion, two scooty-riding suspects were stopped, they also had a bag. Both were arrested. Weapons were recovered from the bags of both the arrested scooty riders. During the interrogation after the arrest, both confessed to supplying weapons to the terrorists.
Police officials said that the arrested terrorist associates have been identified as Shaukat Ahmad Digoo and his minor cousin. On interrogation Shaukat Ahmed disclosed that he was in touch with Firdous Ahmed Bhat, an OGW lodged in the jail of the same village. The arms and ammunition recovered from him were meant to attack police and security forces.
The seizures included 25 Chinese grenades, one pistol, two pistol magazines, 230 pistol rounds, 10 AK magazines and 300 AK rounds, police said. The seizure list of recovered weapons has been prepared and kept in the record room. On the other hand, interrogation is going on to unearth the entire network of arrested terrorist associates.
