A shocking incident came to light in Samastipur, Bihar. On hearing this people heaved a sigh. Real aunt burnt her niece alive in a dispute over only 15 inches of land. A panchayat was held in the Rosera police station area of Udaipur in the Samastipur district regarding a land dispute. And after the panchayat, the girl's father Singheshwar Ram left for work. At that time the girl was alone in the house. Seeing the girl alone, the elder brother's wife sprinkled kerosene on the girl and set her on fire. In injured condition, the family was taken to Rosda Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, from where the doctors referred them to Sadar Hospital seeing the seriousness of the situation.
It is being told that the victim Neha Kumari (14 years) is the daughter of Singheshwar Ram. The victim's family alleges that her elder brother's wife found the daughter alone at home and sprinkled kerosene and set the girl's body on fire.
Doctors in Sadar Hospital have referred him to DMCH due to the non-availability of a burn ward. Sadar Hospital Dr. PD Sharma told that the condition of the injured girl Neha is very serious. 80 to 90 percent of the body has been burnt.
The father of the victim girl Neha said that for the last 10 years there was a dispute with her elder brother regarding the land. For this reason, he also gave the father's share of land to his elder brother. But this incident has been carried out for the sake of 10 to 15 inches of land.
The victim's family information has been registered at Rosera police station. SI Vinay Kumar, posted on duty at Samastipur Sadar Hospital, said that the matter is related to a land dispute. Further action will be taken on the basis of the statement.
