It was told by Arctech that they started their business in India in 2015 and since then supplied 3.5 GW of solar trackers to the Indian market. At the same time, in association with 'Jesh Energy', a 3 GW factory has been opened. The main objective of the company is to provide low-cost solar trackers to Indian customers in the coming times.
Gail Chen, CEO of Arctech's Joint Venture Manufacturing in India, has said that the company is committed to reducing solar tracker prices for customers and enabling lower electricity costs in the country. He said that our first priority is to reduce the cost of our solar trackers for our customers in India.
According to Arctech, Jash Energy's manufacturing factory is spread over 16 acres in Mundra, Gujarat. It is built on Arctech's existing Chinese manufacturing base, with automated production lines.
Shail Shah, Director, Jesh Energy said, “The corona pandemic emerged as a major challenge while setting up the manufacturing unit, leading to supply chain disruptions across the world. Due to this, there has been a huge increase in the prices of steel, cement and other products. So the biggest challenge before us was to complete the project on time, without any cost. I am happy today that we have established Joint Venture Manufacturing.
