164 crore recovery notice to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, 10 days
The Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP) has issued a recovery notice of Rs 164 crore to Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. The recovery notice issued by DIP also includes interest on the amount. The ruling AAP in Delhi is mandated to pay the full amount within 10 days.
Another problem of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi seems to be increasing. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a recovery notice of Rs 164 crore. The DIP i.e. Directorate of Information and Publicity Secretary of Delhi Government has issued this notice to Arvind Kejriwal. The DIP has also directed us to deposit of this amount within 10 days.
It is being told that the interest imposed on the amount is also included in the recovery notice issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP). The ruling AAP party in Delhi is mandated to pay the full amount within 10 days. If the Kejriwal government does not do so, all legal action will be taken in a time-bound manner as per the previous order of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. In this, the properties of the party can be attached.
Lieutenant Governor of Delhi V.K. Saxena had directed the Chief Secretary to recover Rs 97 crore from the Aam Aadmi Party for political advertisements published in the guise of government advertisements. This incident has been seen after one month. This notice has been issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity, Government of Delhi following the instructions of the Lieutenant Governor.
Attacking the BJP, Kejriwal said the saffron party was using all these gimmicks to harass the people of Delhi and asked why they were being targeted when every state government releases advertisements in other states.
